Mutual of Omaha is seeking multiple detail-oriented and communicative professionals to join our Compensation team, which is responsible for managing IT systems that calculate commissions and pay producers. This role requires critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration with business areas to gather and analyze requirements. WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications):  
    • Business Systems Analyst II: $60,000 - $75,000, plus annual bonus opportunity. 
    • Business Systems Analyst III: $70,000 - $85,000, plus annual bonus opportunity. 
    • Business Systems Consultant I: $80,000 - $95,000, plus annual bonus opportunity. 
    • Business Systems Consultant II: $95,000 - $110,000, plus annual bonus opportunity. 
    • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match. 
    • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year. 
    • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion. 
    • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Gather and document requirements, analyze data, formulate recommendations, and collaborate with the team for implementation.Create and execute test plans, ensuring requirements are met and identifying exceptions. 
  • Validate requirements to ensure they are accurate, complete, and meet stakeholder expectations. This involves reviewing documents and obtaining sign-offs from stakeholders to confirm their understanding. 
  • Assess the impact of process adjustments on people, strategy, and systems. Provide information for Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA).  
  • Assist in maintaining strong vendor relationships. 
  • Develop communication and training plans for internal and external partners. This includes ensuring the impact of the work is in business terms, and easy for stakeholders to understand.   

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Three or more years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Consultant.  
  • Experience collaborating with application developers or other technology teams, including involvement in project management and development practice.   
  • Exposure to business analysis and project management techniques, processes and tools  
  • Experience developing and executing test cases.   
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico. 

PREFERRED:

  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) and data analysis.  
  • Experience working in Agile environment. 
  • Working knowledge of qTest, test automation, and tools such as SQL and JSON.
