As a Business Systems Analyst (or Business Systems Consultant, depending on experience) you’ll keep our third-party administrator system (Sunlight) running smoothly, lead process improvements, and help coach and mentor newer BSAs.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU: 

  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications):
    • Business Systems Analyst III: $66,500 - $86,000, plus annual bonus opportunity
    • Business Systems Consultant I: $74,000 - $95,500, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Analyze business processes, gather requirements, and recommend improvements that align with business and compliance needs. You’ll balance day-to-day support with opportunities for new project work.
  • Lead and perform system testing, including test planning, execution, and validation to make sure business and technical requirements are met.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and partner with vendors and internal teams to quickly resolve problems and keep the business running smoothly.
  • Coach and mentor newer BSAs, sharing best practices and helping them grow their technical and analytical skills.
  • Create and deliver clear communication and training materials to support business partners and stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Solid business analysis skills with proven experience gathering requirements, analyzing workflows, and supporting system or process changes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to speak up, influence decisions, and build relationships across teams.
  • A passion for coaching and mentoring others.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment—skilled at prioritizing, problem-solving, and driving results.
  • Experience with Agile, SDLC, or similar methodologies. Manual testing experience is a plus.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Insurance industry knowledge (life or health).
