You will spend your day creating documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including taking concise meeting notes, assisting with requirement gathering and implementation, and supporting testing efforts to ensure business and technical needs are met. You'll also build your understanding of departmental processes and compliance, contribute to administrative and production support, and communicate effectively while collaborating with diverse teams and gaining exposure to leadership. 

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications):  
    • Business Systems Analyst I: $57,000 - $62,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.   
    • Business Systems Analyst II: $66,000 - $73,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Create documentation throughout the project lifecycle including taking concise meeting notes, assisting in gathering and analyzing requirements and assisting with implementation.    
  • Build your understanding of the department’s business processes, compliance, and workflows and apply that knowledge to your daily activities. May include administrative and production support.    
  • Assist with creation of test plans, test scripts, and performs manual or automated testing for enhancements, upgrades and on-going maintenance to ensure that business, technical, and functional requirements are being met.    
  • Communicate and present information effectively, both through written communications and verbally.    
  • You will have the opportunity to broaden your knowledge of Workplace Solutions, work with diverse teams and have exposure to leadership.    

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Understanding of the business and technical processes needed to meet/exceed business objectives including familiarity with Agile/Scrum.    
  • Exposure to business analysis/project management techniques, processes and tools.    
  • Ability to organize and deliver tasks and projects in a timely manner.   
  • Detail-oriented, clear communication skills, both written and verbal.    
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.  
  • Ability to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico. 

PREFERRED:

  • Current or prior EDI experience  
  • Prior experience working in the insurance industry.   
  • Prior experience working with Mutual of Omaha’s Workplace Solutions systems and business processes. 
  • Prior experience/education with Business Systems Analysis or Agile methodologies.
